Since Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung boldly let his children study in Western countries, today, officials from the central to local levels are openly sending their children study abroad in the US, Australia, and EU. This shows that the Communists themselves do not trust the education system they impose.
Saying “study abroad” is to make it seem “luxurious” but in essence, it is a refugee. Refugee is to flee, officials have used money to push their children to flee from socialist education. Thanks to corruption, officials can afford to send their children to foreign schools for hundreds of thousands of dollars each year, but how can ordinary people have such assets to send their children there? For people, economic asylum is the most realistic path. Scrambling for a few hundred million to pay for centers that organize sending people to export labor and then working hard there to earn money to escape poverty.
In 2023, the US economy grew by only 2.5%, half that of Vietnam. Just a number like that would make the lives of American people noticeably better. However, with a growth rate of 5%, Vietnamese people find life more stuffy, not easier to breathe. It is worth mentioning that every year Vietnam’s economic growth is from 5 to 6% but people are racing to work in foreign countries to escape poverty.
In fact, the Party impoverishes the people but they still have good numbers. Those numbers are mainly contributed by FDI. Under the rule of the Communist Party, domestic businesses are still very stifled, and people’s lives are still very difficult. Therefore, if we stick to statistics, we will be mistaken. We need to observe people’s real lives to fully understand the problem.
Last year, teachers quit teaching to go abroad as ordinary workers, and students dropped out of university entrance exams for the same purpose. Among them, there are many people who on the outside appear to be exporting labor but on the inside are plotting to flee Vietnam. Therefore, the number of people residing illegally in Japan, Korea and Taiwan is not small.
On January 30, Tuoi Tre newspaper reported that thousands of people braved the cold rain to register for the exam to work in Korea. Why do they brave the cold weather to compete for a job in foreign countries? Isn’t it because the Party has impoverished them and given people no chance to escape poverty in their home country?
Corruption is a form of siphoning off people’s sweat and tears to put into state officials’ pockets. When the people are exploited to impoverishment, it is considered that the Communist Party has attacked the power of 100 million people. In order for the country to develop, first of all the government apparatus must limit corruption, but if corruption is “higher this year than last year,” how does this society have any chance to develop?
Education is the nursery for the country’s future. How the Party creates the nursery and even the officials do not want their children to grow up in that nursery is enough to understand how broken this country is. When it comes to education, there is no hope for the future of the country.
As for the ruling Communist Party, it is impossible to prevent people from fleeing the country. In addition to political and religious refugees, there are also economic and educational refugees. Many wealthy people in Vietnam choose to invest and buy foreign citizenship. The price for such a passport can be from $2 million, an amount of money enough to live comfortably in Vietnam, but they still want to go abroad. Because a clean-living environment and a peaceful society are something that even billions of dollars in your pocket cannot buy in Vietnam. Not to mention, when you are rich, the Party also wants to rob your assets like many other tycoons have been, are and will be. Living under the Party’s rule is literally living in hell.
