For many years, traffic accidents have become a national problem. This problem has a big reason coming from the government, in allowing registration centers to act on their own; driving schools sell licenses, and traffic police take coruption.
Registration centers freely ask car owners for money to ignore dangerous errors, regardless of whether they are old cars or modified cars, which can be dangerous when participating in traffic. But they are the same people who press the owners of the new cars who refuse to bribe the registration officers. The registration agencies are being inspected on a large scale and many arrests have taken place, but this is only to treat the symptoms, not the root cause.
Traffic accidents also come from the management of driving testing and licensing centers. At these centers, it is not difficult to spend money to get a car driver’s license, even a heavy vehicle driver’s license. Many people just go to school perfunctorily, then spend money to buy scores, some people send someone else to take the test for them, but the test center turns blind eye, some people even spend money to buy a driver’s license without having to go to school a day, etc.
Furthermore, most Vietnamese traffic police do not work out of responsibility, but only try to get bribery. They set up checkpoints everywhere to make money from vehicle drivers. Even if you commit a serious mistake, you just need to give bribery and you can go without being punished. Meanwhile, drivers who are safe, lawful, and have complete documents are still being harassed by the traffic police to extort money.
Why is traffic in other countries orderly, but traffic in Vietnam is chaotic? Don’t blame the people’s consciousness, but must state the correct cause: It is due to bad state management that the poor consciousness of the people is nurtured. If you drive according to the law, a car with complete documents will still be prosecuted, while a car of poor quality, driven recklessly and still be allowed to pass, isn’t that a breeding ground for bad habits to develop?

For people, Thanh Buoi’s way of organizing transfers and gathering passengers to specific locations is very scientific, as well as creating comfort for guests. Yet they were attacked by some nonsense legal document. In Vietnam, issuing documents to prevent one subject, and assisting another, is not uncommon. It is a kind of policy corruption, or even power corruption.
For example, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong drew up a special rate for himself to enjoy, but set an age limit to eliminate opponents, which is a way of drawing up rules to corrupt power. At the lower level, there is policy corruption, using policies to protect one business and destroy another.
Currently, City Party Secretary Nguyen Van Nen and Major General, Director of Ho Chi Minh City Police, Mr. Le Hong Nam, are using a legal document to destroy a business, it is clear that the two men are turning the government into an evil force. Arrest whoever they want, arrest whoever they want, kill whoever they want, trample on the law, and people are no longer fair before the law.
