At 8:45 am on January 14, 2020, Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang informed the press about the progress of the incident in Dong Tam on the late night of January and the early hours of January 9 which led to the gruesome death of 3 police officers
Deputy Minister Le Tam Quang said at the press conference “The initial collision occurred at the patroling post number 16, at the gate of Hoanh village. When the police unit entered the area 50 meters from the village gate, the subjects used grenades to attack the policemen. The policemen used loudspeakers to request the subjects to give up and not to attack the police forces but the subjects remained stubborn, threwing 3 grenades into the police forces and later retreated to the houses of Le Dinh Kinh, Le Dinh Chuc and Le Dinh Hoi. The policemen chased them and strived to arrest the subjects who continue to use petrol bombs, stones and bricks, lenthy iron bars with knives to resist the police officers. As a result, 3 police officers got injured and fell into the pit between the house of Le Dinh Hoi and Le Dinh Chuc. The subjects threw petrol bombs and poured gasoline into the pit to burn the 3 officers who died later.
Gen. Quang said and affirmed “When seeing police officers falling into the pits, the subjects poured gasoline and set fire. There is no story of digging holes, spreading crock pieces like rumored.“
Young activist Trinh Ba Tu wrote on Facebook that: On January 9, riot police broke down the first floor of Mr. Hoi’s house, then climbed up to the second floor. They broke Mr. Hoi’s window to jump to Mr. Chuc’s rooftop.
There are many questions rising. It is very likely that when the police officers broke the window of Mr. Hoi’s house to jump to Chuc’s house, they fell down in “a technical pit” – that is, a sky well.
Because it was a bit spicy and the smoke was dark during night time, they couldn’t see the hole clearly, maybe they thought it was flat.
Le Dinh Uy, who had just popped his face out of the door of Mr. Chuc’s house, was shot in the hand. No one can be on the terrace, so they can stand by the ‘technical’ pit. No one under the rain of bullets could hold gasoline to the pit. Because if present, he would be shot down immediately
Police officers set up an altar at the mouth of a sky well with bundles of incense and fruit to worship the three mobile policemen who died.
The opinion of young activist Trinh Ba Phuong on the death pit that caused 3 police officers to die of fire:
Looking closely at this hole, I saw no sign of having enough fire to burn 3 people at the same time, the amount of oxygen under the hole was not enough to burn instantly at 3 people, 4 sides of the pit walls were not smoky, the wall does not show signs of peeling due to fire. However, the need to reconstruct the scene under international supervision will reveal the truth. When setting up the scene, there must also be medical, fire and thousands of people behind ready to assist in the rescue.
If the Ministry of Public Security does not dare to reconstruct the scene and invites international supervisors to directly supervise, then the only way to continue thinking of another scenario about the death of 3 police officers.
Facebook Pham Ngoc Hung has a quite logical assumption: News leaked from “insiders” about the death of 3 police officers in Dong Tam raid, accordingly, there is absolutely no story “soaked in gasoline.” It said that Captain Quan used a special cable to climb on the roof of the neighbor Le Dinh Kinh’s house to scout, and was attacked by high-voltage electricity from the 35KV line. He fell into the sky well between the two houses.
After Quan suffered the accident, fireman Huy was called, along with Senior Lieutenant colonel Thinh to climb down the cable. Because he did not know that captain Quan was infected with electricity through the cable, Thinh and Huy tought Quan and three were affected with electricity and the trio died from explossive.
Observers are looking for evidence for this scenario but two points have been confirmed: that night, the villagers filmed the scene of electric shock and brightly lit wires, and 35KV of electricity when short will release the arc at very high temperatures, can burn corpses as black as lightning.
If there is sufficient evidence to confirm, it means that the Dong Tam villagers have nothing to do with the deaths of the three officers, and there is no basis evidence to assuse them of committing murder or terrorism.
Of the 3 policemen were killed, 2 were from the riot police while the third victim was police fireman.
Riot police carry equipment such as smoke grenades and flares (signal or rescue)
The fireman must definitely bring someone to the left of rescue.
As described above, because it was dark and not equipped with night vision equipment and not good at terrain, at least one police officer fell into the slot, causing:
♣ smoke grenades exploded,
♣ or flares activated.
The temperature of these two things is much hotter than gasoline bombs, up to a thousand degrees Celsius, but unlike burning gasoline, it does not smoke black.
The thousands of degrees of heat burned everything black, and the deep pit became a furnace that kept the heat from burning all three bodies.
In the house of Mrs. Le Dinh Kinh, Mrs. Du Thi Thanh collected the evidence of the attack including: shells, copper and lead warheads; The pods come in three colors: yellow, red and white. Riot police used military weapons to shoot and fired tear gas and rubber bullets …
Carefully read the letters on the yellow explosion marked “Professional Explosions” produced by the Ministry of Public Security’s E112 factory, production year 2017, expires in 2020.
E112 factory belongs to General Department of Logistics – Technical, Ministry of Public Security, is located in Security Industrial Park – in Lai Yen commune, Hoai Duc district, Hanoi.
The doorways at the scene were shot through, counting on the picture saw about 5-6 holes.
Trinh Ba Tu recorded Mrs. Ba Du Thi Thanh’s words:
The couple Thanh and Kinh were suffocated, in the first floor bedroom. Mr. Thanh had to try and step by step to find a cup of water to wet a mask to give to Kinh to breathe.
After that, the room was shot, the door was broken, the old lady was pulled out by the riot Police, and Mrs. Kinh was nearly exhausted because the room was filled with gun smoke, tear gas.
Later, Mr. Kinh was tortured, then brutally murdered in his bedroom.
Blood traces of some residue left on the floor through photos that people have seen: After his burial, the family discovered a fishy smell, then found a load of clothes in the corner of the house. But the whole load of clothing was soaked in blood that had clotted, because the riot policemen had taken the clothes that were available in the room to wipe away Kinh’s blood and put it in that load.
The bloody crackdown on Dong Tam people to kill 84-year-old revolutionary Le Dinh Kinh is the clearest evidence of the barbarism of the ruling Communist Party of Vietnam headed by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Minister of Public Security To Lam. The trio must take full responsibility for the pain and terror that the Đồng Tâm people in particular and the millions of people in the country in general.
From this point on, all three leading figures of the Party, the State and the police forces have been recorded in the darkest history page of the nation.
